ROUTE

The tour group meets at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Resort Phuket in Patong (HKT40032).

Drive along the coastal road towards the mainland.

Crossing the 700 m long Sarasin Bridge into Phang Nga Province.

Hong Island – Krabi

Ascend to the Samet Nangshe viewpoint with the aid of an all-terrain vehicle and an experienced driver. Enjoy views of Phang Nga Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dotted with countless islands and limestone cliffs.

Lunch at a selected restaurant.

Visit the rock monastery Wat Tham Suea in Krabi. Approximately 45-minute hike through a remote jungle valley where monks practice meditation in simple dwellings and caves. Optional athletic challenge: the Temple Mount with its 1,260 uneven steps.

After breakfast, drive to Ao Nam Mao Pier.

A long-tail boat takes you along the picturesque rocky coast of the Railay Peninsula to the beautifully situated bay of Phra Nang with its Princess Beach.

Visit the Phra Nang Cave, which is still revered by locals as a mystical ritual site within a fertility cult. Afterwards, enjoy free time on the beach.

Return to the mainland and lunch at a selected restaurant.

Pang Na Bay – Mangrove

Continue to the Khlong Song Naam Mangrove Nature Reserve. Walk along the nature trail to a freshwater spring, whose crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming.

Visit the sacred Wat Bang Riang mountain temple with Siddhartha’s tooth relic and a large, golden Buddha statue between the mountain peaks.

In the late afternoon, arrival at Khao Sok National Park – known as the largest area of evergreen rainforest in Thailand.

Overnight stay in the bungalow complexes on the edge of the jungle.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch

Early morning drive to Cheow Lan Lake, a haven for nature lovers. Surrounded by mountains, jagged cliffs, and impenetrable tropical rainforest, the lake is one of Asia’s most impressive natural spectacles.

Approximately one-hour boat ride, including a photo stop, a short jungle hike, and a visit to a stalactite cave.

Return trip and lunch.

Afterwards, you will enjoy a 1-hour raft trip along the lush riverside vegetation and mighty limestone cliffs on the Sok River with a local guide.

Stop at the shore: make coffee in a bamboo tube over the campfire.

Drive to the hotel

Meals: Breakfast, lunch

Return to Phuket with a stop in Takua Pa, a small town with Sino-Portuguese influence.

Guided tour through a typical market hall with fresh fish, meat, vegetables, exotic fruits and spices.

Continue to Khao Lak and have lunch with a view of the region’s endless, dreamy beaches.

Last stop of the tour is at Ton Prai Waterfall, a 40-meter-long waterfall with a tropical backdrop – opportunity for a refreshing swim.
